“A photograph can capture how someone looks. A portrait can reveal who they are.”
Photography has been a part of my life for over 25 years. Behind the camera, I have always been fascinated by people, their uniqueness, their emotions and the stories that quietly unfold in front of my lens. The play of light, the character of a place and the moments that only reveal themselves when we slow down have always captivated me.
Meditation and quiet observation have been part of my life since childhood. Picking up a camera felt like a natural extension of that, helping me slow down, be present and celebrate the beauty of everyday life.
Some of my earliest memories are of playing with my father’s Kodak SLR film camera. Later, my first camera became an Olympus C-2000 2.1 megapixel digital camera.
I am a self taught photographer. What began as a lifelong passion became a creative outlet and, with my first paid project in 2014 using my Nikon D850 gear, grew into a successful photography business alongside my corporate career.
BEYOND THE LENS
While I work as an ICF Certified Leadership and Wellbeing Coach and Retail Strategy Consultant with over 20 years of experience, photography remains a deeply meaningful part of my life, where creativity, connection and storytelling come together.
For over a decade, photography has been a powerful medium for creating positive social impact. I am the founder of #PINKDAYTOSHINE, a pro bono breast cancer awareness initiative celebrating the resilience, courage and strength of cancer warriors, and the creator of Special People Big Hearts, a portrait initiative celebrating children with special needs. Through these projects, I have witnessed how a single portrait can build confidence, spark conversations and honour stories that deserve to be seen.
Sharing knowledge is another passion of mine. Over the years, I have enjoyed teaching photography, encouraging children, women and fellow mothers to embrace the Art of Seeing and discover the joy of storytelling through their own lens.

Whether I am creating personal brand portraits for women entrepreneurs, capturing the quiet bond between a mother and child, teaching photography or leading community initiatives, one purpose guides everything I do.

THE ART OF SEEING
As a mother of two girls and a mindfulness and meditation practitioner, photography offers me a space for stillness, reflection and what I often call the Art of Seeing.
Through my lens, I love connecting with the diverse cultures, emotions, passions and stories of the people I meet.
I believe every individual carries unique beauty, immense potential, aspirations and dreams.
My greatest joy lies in capturing portraits that honour that essence and celebrate people as they truly are.
MY STYLE
I love environmental portraits and the stories that unfold within real spaces. Rather than being confined to a studio, I prefer photographing people in places that feel natural, comfortable and meaningful to them.
Working with natural light whenever possible, I create authentic, candid and timeless portraits that feel relaxed, personal and true to life.
Today, I photograph with the Nikon D850 and Nikon Z7II, paired primarily with my favourite NIKKOR Z 24–70mm f/2.8 S lens.
Every image is personally selected, edited and professionally retouched by me. I follow a natural and minimal approach to editing, preserving the authenticity, character and warmth of the original photograph while delivering a polished final result.
